Laguna Llaca Viewpoint from the Llaca Refuge

Trail description

A short high walk from the Llaca refuge at the base camp, about 1.5 hours by private transport from Huaraz, to the viewpoint at the head of the Llaca valley beside Laguna Llaca (4474 m). Allow about 40 minutes to the viewpoint and visit the lake shore on the way back. Its turquoise water comes from springs and the melt of the nearby glaciers.
