Trail description

A strenuous climb of about 3 hours up a steep set of switchbacks from Lamay (2920 m) in the Sacred Valley to the Inca site of Huchuy Qosqo (3650 m), which is not reachable by public road. The site charges an entrance fee (22 soles for adults in the cited source), collected by the groundskeepers who live by the entrance.
