Trail description

A flat 1.1 km seafront walk in Huanchaco, from near the Plaza de Armas south past the dry bed of the Río Seco to the Huancarute beach. Huanchaco is a seaside resort near Trujillo, known for its surf breaks, its caballitos de totora reed boats and its ceviche, and it lies near the ruins of Chan Chan. It was named a World Surfing Reserve in 2012.
