Trail description
A steep 3.7 km climb of about 700 m through the San Pablo-Catarata Gocta communal conservation area, passing about 100 m from the Gocta falls and ending at about 2,440 m. Gocta is a perennial waterfall with two drops in Bongará province, Amazonas, flowing into the Cocahuayco River. Although local people had always known it, the wider world only learned of it after a 2002 expedition by the German Stefan Ziemendorff with Peruvian explorers.
