Cumbemayo Stone Forest

Trail description

A 3 km loop with about 80 m of climbing at Cumbemayo above Cajamarca, along the pre-Inca canal cut into the rock more than 3,000 years ago and through the stone forest of eroded volcanic towers known as los frailones. The site is at about 3,550 m and charges an entrance fee.
