Trail description
Walk from the village of Coporaque in the Colca valley up the path on the slope above it, with views over the terraced valley. Coporaque is one of the oldest settlements in the valley, with remains from before the Incas. Its church of Santiago Apóstol, built in the second half of the 16th century, is the oldest in the Colca, and the evangelisation of the valley began here. The village lies in the old lands of the Collagua people.
