Trail description

A flat 1.7 km walk through the dry forest of the Bosque de Pómac Historic Sanctuary in Lambayeque, ending near the Árbol Milenario. The sanctuary protects the most representative area of the equatorial dry forest, with its typical carob (algarrobo) woodland, together with the archaeological complex of Batán Grande. It lies mainly in the Pítipo district of Ferreñafe and is one of four protected areas in Peru classed as historic sanctuaries.
