Barranco Bajada de Baños

Trail description

A short 1 km walk with about 35 m of climbing up the Bajada de Baños from the beach in Barranco, past the Puente de los Suspiros and La Ermita church into the centre of the district. Barranco is a seaside district of Lima known as a bohemian and artistic centre, home to many of Peru's leading artists, musicians, designers and photographers. Most of it is administered as the Monumental Zone of Barranco, under a special regime that protects its heritage.
