Vidden, Ulriken to Fløyen

Trail description

Bergen's classic mountain traverse starts by Johan Blyttsvei at Montana, climbs Ulriken and follows the cairned plateau of Vidden past Turnerhytten and Borgaskaret before descending over Rundemanen to Fløyen. UT.no gives about 15 km and 5 to 6 hours; the plateau is easy walking once you are up, but it is near high-mountain terrain with steep drops off the path in places, and search operations for hikers caught by weather are common. From Fløyen you can walk down or take the Fløibanen funicular.
