Storheia Bymarka

Trail description

Hike in Bymarka, Trondheim's large forest and upland area west of the city, from the Gråkallen viewpoint near Skistua along forest paths to the summit of Storheia. At 565 m, Storheia is the highest point in Bymarka, with wide views in all directions over Trondheim, the Trondheimsfjord and the surrounding hills. Trondhjems Turistforening had a hut on the summit until it burned down in 1969. Skistua can be reached by road and bus.
