Siggjo

Trail description

Siggjo (474 m), the highest mountain on Bømlo and an old landmark for sailors, from the car park by the county road at Stokka in Siggjarvåg. A marked path joins a tractor road to the Siggjo sign, from where Sherpa-built steps lead all the way to the summit, about 5 km return. The top has views from Folgefonna to the open sea and traces of Stone Age rhyolite quarrying.
