Preståsen Sandefjord

Trail description

Short walk from central Sandefjord up the steps from Bjerggata into Preståsen, a wooded nature park that opened on 19 July 1914. The ridge once belonged to the Sandar parsonage, which gave it its name, and it became a favourite outing for guests of Sandefjord Spa after 1837. Paths lead past viewpoints over the town and fjord and the Preståsen Amfi outdoor stage to Brydedammen, a former ice pond. The park has benches, fire pits, shelters and a playground.
