Trail description

Kjerna is a 648 m rock promontory above Efjord at Skjellesvikskaret south of Narvik, often called the Preikestolen of northern Norway. The hike starts at the parking area by the E6 near the top of the pass and follows cairns over bare rock, low vegetation and small screes to the viewpoint, a short and steep walk. The top is steep and exposed, so keep well back from the edge.
