Trail description

A 3.2 km climb of about 340 m from the edge of Bodø past the Vollvatnet and Svartvatnet lakes, on the Keiserstien path, to the Keiservarden viewpoint at the top. Keiservarden is the top of the 366 m mountain Veten, known for its views to Landegode, the Børvasstindene and the Lofoten wall. It is named after the German emperor Wilhelm II, who visited the top on 19 July 1891, and is one of the most visited summits in Norway.
