Karljohansvern Horten

Trail description

A flat 1.4 km walk from Horten out to Karljohansvern, past the museum vessels KNM Utstein and KNM Blink. Karljohansvern is a former naval station and closed shipyard; it was the navy's main yard from 1850 to 1968 and then a civilian yard until 1987. A dug canal separates the area from the mainland and makes it an island.
