Trail description
A flat 1 km walk through Kabelvag, on the southern shore of Austvagoya in Lofoten, about 5 km south-west of Svolvaer. The village was founded as Vagan in the early 12th century by King Oystein Magnusson, who built a church and a hostel for fishermen, and the saga tradition places the first town in North Norway, Vagar, here. Kabelvag has the Lofoten Museum and the Lofoten Aquarium.
