Innerdalen

Trail description

A 2.8 km walk with about 275 m of climbing up Innerdalen in Trollheimen, from near Renndølsetra past Innerdalshytta and the ruins of Giklingsetra along the Fluo river, ending at about 665 m. Innerdalen is an east-west valley in Sunndal, about 10 km north of Sunndalsøra, and an important gateway to Trollheimen. The Norwegian Trekking Association has two huts here, Innerdalshytta, used since 1889, and Renndølsetra, and climbers come for Trolla, Skarfjellet and Innerdalstårnet.
