Hovdetoppen

Trail description

Walk from central Gjøvik up to Hovdetoppen, the 258 m ridge just west of the town, with views over the town and Lake Mjøsa. The north side of the hill has ski slopes and a ski jump. A restaurant opened on the summit in 1928, built partly as relief work, but it burned down in 1964; its ruins are still on the top.
