Trail description

The glacier-free route to Galdhøpiggen (2469 m), Norway's highest mountain, from Spiterstulen in Visdalen. The path climbs west up the hillside to Svellnose (2272 m) and over Keilhaus topp to the summit; UT.no gives about 9 hours for the round trip and notes it is long but relatively easy for people in normal good shape. Only the descent to Juvasshytta crosses the Styggebreen glacier, so return the same way.
