Trail description
The highest mountain in Kristiansund (629 m), climbed from the north-west shore of Frei along the long Freikollen ridge. The path goes over the minor tops Kuhaugen, Ørnlia and Sandvikhaugen and past the small tarn Krypervikvatnet to the main cairn, about 4.8 km each way, with views over Frei, Kristiansund and Smøla. The summit sees about 20,000 visits a year.
