Fløyen

Trail description

A 3.7 km climb of about 360 m from Vågen by Bryggen in Bergen, past the lower Fløibanen station and Skansen, up Fløyveien and the Tippetue bends and then the Nye Brattetrappen stairs onto Fløyfjellet. The line passes about 350 m from the Fløyen viewpoint, goes within 100 m of the 400 m top at Fløyvarden and ends near the Revurtjernet tarn at about 350 m. Fløyen, 320 m above the sea on Fløyfjellet, is one of Bergen's most popular sights for its view over the Bergen peninsula.
