Trail description

Fannafjellet (854 m) from the parking at Brekkeslettene in Øvre Espedal, a gateway to the Frafjordheiane protected landscape. A steep path climbs Stølsbrekkene to Øvre Espedalsstølen, then a clear path crosses Jonsåna and easy heath to the summit, reached from the south, with views over inner Ryfylke; UT.no gives 2.5 hours one way. A memorial on the mountain recalls a German aircraft that crashed here in 1943.
