Buren Kvaløya

Trail description

Buren (802 m) is one of the classic summits on Kvaløya, about 20 minutes by car from Tromsø. The path starts at the paid parking at Ersfjordeidet by Blåmann idrettspark and climbs over Ramnberget past small lakes, becoming stonier from Skålhammaren with views over Ersfjorden, and steeper and bouldery in the last 200 m. Nordnorge grades it demanding, 4 to 6 hours return, and recommends it only in good visibility.
