Bufjordstigen Dalen

Trail description

An easy loop along the Telemark Canal at Dalen, from Lastein (Dalen) quay, where the canal boats call and Eidsborg whetstones were once shipped. It passes a beach, the Tangane pine woods with a view to Dalen Hotel, crosses Tokkeåi on a stone weir (use the road at high water) and follows a nature trail on Buøy before returning through Dalen centre. It is partly universally accessible and open April to October.
