Brattfjellet Grøtfjord

Trail description

Brattfjellet (557 m) on Kvaløya is one of the earliest summits to be free of snow in spring near Tromsø. The hike starts from a small roadside parking area on the west side of Storvatnet, climbs out of the forest with views over the beach at Grøtfjorden and follows a clear path to the top, about 1.5 hours one way at an easy pace. Nordnorge recommends it only in good visibility.
