Bitihorn

Trail description

The upper 1.5 km of the climb of Bitihorn above Lake Bygdin on the Valdresflye road, rising about 370 m on the northern ridge to near the 1,607 m summit. Bitihorn is the most climbed peak in Valdres, with a view over Jotunheimen and much of Valdres. The full hike from the parking on road 51 is about 8 km with some 550 m of climbing on T-marked paths; the southern ridge involves technical climbing.
