Trail description
The classic Besseggen crossing in Jotunheimen National Park, walked from Memurubu, reached by the Gjende boat from Gjendesheim, back to Gjendesheim. The path crosses the flat Bandet area, climbs the narrow Besseggen ridge between green Gjende and blue Bessvatnet with some hands on scrambling, and goes over Veslfjellet. About 30,000 people walk it each year.
