Bårdsfjellet

Trail description

Bårdsfjellet (1146 m) is a popular, easily reached summit northwest of Oppdal that gives a feeling of being high in the mountains. From the Skaret parking area a well marked path crosses gravel road, bog and mountain terrain before a final, slightly steeper climb to the large cairn on top, about 7 km return with 350 m of ascent. The summit has a panoramic view over Oppdal.
