Aurlandsvangen to Stegastein

Trail description

A steep, red-marked path from Aurlandsvangen up through birch forest and an old pack-horse trail to the Stegastein viewing platform at about 640 m above the Aurlandsfjord. It passes the Dagsturhytta day-trip hut after about 1.5 km; UT.no gives about 3.5 hours return and notes slippery sections in rain and grazing animals in summer.
