Trail description
Walk along the Alnastien beside the Alna, Oslo's longest river, up through Kværnerdalen and the wooded Svartdalen gorge towards Bryn. The Alna runs about 15 km from Alunsjøen in Lillomarka to the Oslofjord, through farmland, housing, industry and forest. The Svartdalen path, opened in 2011, follows the river past waterfalls and through old-growth forest. Several stretches of the river have been reopened from pipes as part of the Alna environmental park.
