Aksla Fjellstua

Trail description

Short, steep climb from Byparken in the centre of Ålesund up the 418 steps to Fjellstua on Aksla, the town mountain at 189 m. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the top. From the viewpoint you look over the Art Nouveau rooftops of Ålesund to the islands, the sea and the Sunnmøre Alps. Fjellstua 418, the café and restaurant at the top, is one of the town's most visited places.
