Stanechki Waterfall from Stanci

Trail description

The Stanechki waterfall on the Kozja river is the largest waterfall of the Osogovo mountains, 11 m high with water all year into a large natural pool. From the village of Stanci, 8 km from Kriva Palanka by asphalt road, a path follows the river upstream through dense beech forest, often right beside or in the stream, crossing it on small wooden bridges. It is about 2 km each way with some 200 m of climbing. The path is not well marked and not maintained, so wear sturdy shoes and long trousers.
