Trail description

Podgorci Lake, at about 2000 m, is the largest glacial lake of the Jablanica mountains on the border with Albania, west of Lake Ohrid. From the village of Podgorci a dirt road and then mountain paths climb through beech forest to the lake. It is about 7.5 km one way with around 950 m of ascent, 3.5 to 4 hours up. The lake is up to 10 m deep, and the smaller Labunishta lakes lie nearby for a longer tour.
