Krivoshijski Waterfall from Bozovce

Trail description

From the village of Bozovce on Shar Mountain, dirt roads and a red-and-white marked forest path lead up into Dolna Leshnica, a glacial valley ringed by steep mountainsides that many hikers call the most beautiful corner of Shar. The route continues to the Krivoshijski waterfall at Dolno Ckalo, a series of cascades between 1,550 and 1,600 m whose upper step is about 11 m high above a round rock pool. It is about 8 km one way with roughly 460 m of ascent through beech and conifer forest. The upper Krivoshijski waterfall (Gorno Ckalo) and Krivoshija lake lie higher up the valley.
