Trail description
The Korab Waterfall, 100 to 138 m high, is the tallest waterfall in North Macedonia, falling from the slopes of Mount Korab in Mavrovo National Park. The path starts near the village of Ribnica, reached by about 4 km of unpaved road from the main park road, and climbs through shaded forest before opening onto high pastures with wide views. It is about 10 km one way on footpath, passing three springs, the last just before the falls. Visit in late May or June, when snowmelt feeds the fall, as it can almost dry up by late summer; a park ticket is required.
