Kobilica Peak from Vejce

Trail description

Kobilica (2528 m) is a sharp pyramid on the main ridge of Shar Planina, on the border between North Macedonia and Kosovo above Tetovo. The usual ascent starts in the village of Vejce and climbs past the Kobilica mountain hut, where you can get food and drinks, to the summit. The round trip is about 10 km with a big climb of well over 1000 m, 4 to 5 hours, and it is best from late May to early November. Strong hikers can continue along the ridge over Treskavec and Vrtop down to Veshala or Bozovce.
