Trail description

San Cristobal Volcano is the highest peak in Nicaragua at 1745 meters. The ascent is steep and demanding, climbing through loose ash slopes up to the steaming crater. From the summit, you can see the volcanoes of the Maribios Range and the Gulf of Fonseca.
