Trail description
A short and steep section of the Maderas Volcano Trail on Ometepe Island, above Balgüe. It climbs about 300 m over 1.4 km along the slope and enters the Maderas Volcano reserve, reaching near a viewpoint at about 630 m. The trail continues toward the summit, which is not part of this route.
