Trail description

Coyotepe Fortress crowns a hill overlooking the city of Masaya, with views of the lake and volcanoes. The path climbs from the Managua - Masaya highway via the Carretera al Coyotepe to the old fort and its historic tunnels. From the summit, the entire Meseta de los Pueblos can be seen.
