Queen Charlotte Anakiwa Section

Trail description

A 12.7 km walk with about 340 m of climbing on the Queen Charlotte Track from Anakiwa, its southern end, toward Mistletoe Bay in the Marlborough Sounds. The 71 km track runs between Queen Charlotte Sound and Kenepuru Sound from Meretoto / Ship Cove to Anakiwa, mostly through native bush along the ridgeline between the sounds. It is one of the most popular tramping tracks in New Zealand, well formed and easy to follow, and since 2013 it has also been one of the New Zealand Cycle Trails.
