Trail description

A short 1.1 km climb of about 125 m from Shannon Street in Oriental Bay up to the Mount Victoria Lookout, partly on the Southern Walkway and the Lookout Walkway. Mount Victoria (Matairangi) is a prominent 196 m hill just east of central Wellington. The summit lookout, developed in 1964 on the site of an old signal station, gives 360 degree views of the city, the harbour, Evans Bay and the Miramar Peninsula.
