Trail description

Out and back from the Kōhaihai shelter at the western end of the Heaphy Track near Karamea, over the Kōhaihai River suspension bridge and a low saddle through nīkau palm forest to Scotts Beach, a wild West Coast beach with a campsite. The sea here is not safe for swimming.
