Trail description

From the end of Canaan Road on Takaka Hill the Harwoods Hole Track runs gently through beech forest and past marble outcrops to Harwoods Hole, a huge vertical shaft in the marble of Abel Tasman National Park, and back the same way. The walk is 4.7 km out and back with about 75 m of climbing. The edge of the shaft is unfenced, so stay well back.
