Trail description
From the car park at the Tolaga Bay Wharf, one of the longest wharves in New Zealand, the walkway crosses farmland over the headland, with a lookout over the Hole in the Wall rock arch, down to Cook's Cove, where James Cook landed in 1769, and returns the same way. The walkway is closed from August to October for lambing.
