From the end of Tyler Road at Ngakawau, north of Westport, the Charming Creek Walkway follows the bed of an old coal railway up the Ngakawau Gorge, past old tunnels and a suspension bridge, to Mangatini Falls. The walk is 6.5 km out and back with only about 95 m of climbing. The walkway continues beyond the falls to the old Charming Creek mill site and Seddonville.
