Trail description
A 3.9 km walk with about 90 m of climbing on the Cape Foulwind Walkway between Tauranga Bay and the lighthouse on Cape Foulwind, 11 km west of Westport. The walkway crosses the rocky headland above the Tasman Sea and passes close to a colony of New Zealand fur seals. Abel Tasman, the first European to sight the headland, named it Rocky Cape in 1642.
