Trail description
From the Haast Pass highway north of Fantail Falls the Brewster Track climbs almost 1,000 m in under 3 km, steeply through beech forest and up the tussock spur to Brewster Hut, below the Brewster Glacier in Mount Aspiring National Park. The track starts with a crossing of the Haast River, which is impassable after heavy rain.
