Trail description
From the Ocean Beach car park at Whangarei Heads the Te Whara Track climbs steeply through coastal forest to the rocky summit of Bream Head (Te Whara, 476 m), with views to the Hen and Chickens Islands and along the coast, and returns the same way. Use the boot-cleaning stations to help stop kauri dieback.
