Trail description
From the Bealey Spur car park on State Highway 73 near Arthur's Pass the track climbs through mountain beech forest and out onto the tussock of Bealey Spur to the small historic Bealey Spur Hut at about 1,220 m. The views take in the Waimakariri valley and the peaks of Arthur's Pass National Park.
