Auckland Coast to Coast Walkway

Trail description

A 14.9 km urban walk across the Auckland isthmus from Onehunga on the Manukau Harbour to Princes Wharf on the Waitemata Harbour, climbing about 280 m in total. The Coast to Coast Walkway crosses the volcanic cones of Maungakiekie / One Tree Hill and Maungawhau / Mt Eden, and passes Cornwall Park, the Auckland Domain with the War Memorial Museum, and Albert Park. The full walk takes about five hours and splits easily into three parts.
